Clever Crazes for Kids® offers contests (the “Contests”) as part of an Always FREE, Always FUN educational model for children in grades K–8. Points are earned in the educational Learning Games and Skill & Drill activities (specified below under CONTESTS). Through colorful, exciting, animated educational games and activities, students earn points while engaging with material in all of the STREAM disciplines. These include Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. The math and vocabulary skill & drill activities offer students the opportunity to earn points while they improve their abilities to answer questions quickly and accurately. With over 50,000 facts and questions and more than 150 educational games and activities, students learn while earning points. This model of encouragement builds students’ confidence, encourages curiosity, and instills a fundamental love of learning.
No products or services are sold on this website, and no purchase is necessary to participate or win. Please note that Apple®, Google®, and Amazon® are not sponsors of, nor are they involved in, any of the Clever Crazes for Kids® contests in any manner.
The Contests include both weekly contests and monthly contests for students in grades K-8, which may be played on a computer or with an app on a tablet.
PreK students may play the educational activities in the You the Reader World on a computer or with an app on a tablet, but are not eligible for the weekly or monthly contests.
Students in grades K-8 compete for high scores in the educational activities (i.e. Learning Games and Skill & Drill), which are found in the Worlds. Currently, the Worlds include You and the World of Art, You the Athlete, You and Biodiversity, You and Our Home Planet, You and Your Insides, You and Your Money, You in Outer Space, You the Citizen, You the Time Traveler, You and How Things Work, You the Reader, and Safe Routes to School.
Note: As we are continually updating the activities on CleverCrazes.com, we acknowledge that there will be short periods of time when a few of the activities appearing on a tablet or iPad may not be exactly the same as those appearing on a computer. Since updates to Apple® and Android® are approved independently, there may be a lag time before you see some of the games.

Monthly Contests for Schools, After-School Programs, Classrooms, and Homeschool Programs (September 2021-April 2022)
As the students in grades K-8 play the educational activities, they accumulate points simultaneously for themselves and for their schools, homeschool programs, or after-school programs.
Playing on CleverCrazes.com together is a fun way to reinforce educational topics. To play as a classroom or group, a school or group may use a SMART Board or gather around a single computer to play. The educator logs in, chooses the adult’s name on the account, selects “Play as a Classroom or Group,” enters his/her PIN, and chooses a grade level.
If a school or after-school program has limited computer access, that program can use the site as a classroom or group and still be eligible to win a classroom or group prize, even if the students cannot play as individuals. Please note that students may play at home and accumulate points both on an individual level and for the school or after-school program if they log in with their school or after-school program usernames and passwords.
Registered PreK students’ points will not be accumulated for winning monthly prizes for their schools, after-school programs, or homeschool programs.
The Contests are open to legal residents of the 50 states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico, the Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa enrolled as students in grades K-8 in any qualifying school or program. A public school or a school that is a non-profit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is a qualifying school. An after-school program that is a non-profit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and submits a Qualifying Entity Compliance form is a qualifying program. A homeschool program that is compliant according to its state rules and is willing to submit a Qualifying Entity Compliance form and a completed IRS Form W-9 is a qualifying program. A school or after-school program that is NOT a non-profit entity will become a qualifying school or program upon completion and submission of a Qualifying Entity Compliance form and an IRS Form W-9. A Qualifying Entity Compliance form and an IRS Form W-9 will be sent to a winning entity which has not previously submitted proof of qualification and must be returned within 14 days after the date of notification in order to receive a prize. Only qualifying schools are eligible to receive school prizes. Only qualifying programs are eligible to receive program prizes.
We at Clever Crazes for Kids® consider playing for two hours per day a maximum reasonable time to enjoy learning and earning points as kids compete for prizes on CleverCrazes.com. Our goal at Clever Crazes is to encourage students to have well-rounded and balanced lives. We want their time during, before, and after school to include sports/physical activities, creative play, doing homework, helping around their homes and/or in their communities, and developing interpersonal relationships and skills. The kids’ use of CleverCrazes.com is to enhance and supplement their academics and arts appreciation and to encourage them to exercise. Therefore, if the website tech team determines that a student is using the website more than two hours per day or has exceeded the highest possible points that are deemed reasonable in the academic and art worlds in a weekly contest period they will be disqualified. Our tech and educational teams have determined that a reasonable amount of points for two hours per day should not exceed one million points for a contest week. If a student’s points are disqualified, those points will also be deducted from the overall points of the school, after-school program, classroom or group, or homeschool program for that month’s contest.
As stated above (under CONTESTS), a program may win a classroom or group prize, even if the students do not play as individuals.
As discussed below (under PRIZES), no student may win a weekly prize more than once during two consecutive calendar months, and no student may win a monthly prize more than once during any of the following contest periods: September–December 2021, January–April 2022, or June–July 2022. Also, no student may win more than one of any specific type of monthly prize (i.e., backpack, gym shoes, headphones, or hoodie) per school year (i.e., September 2021–April 2022). No school or after-school program may win a $100 prize and a $500 prize in the same month. No school classroom or after-school group may win a $100 prize more than once during any two consecutive calendar months. No school or after-school program may win a $500 prize more than once during any two consecutive calendar months. No homeschool program may win a $200 prize more than once during any two consecutive calendar months.
Each student must be registered by a parent, guardian, teacher, homeschool program educator, or after-school program coordinator in order to participate. In our efforts to remain child-safe, we will only interact with adults. As discussed below (under REGISTRATION), the Contest registration information must be completed and submitted in electronic format only on the contest site. Online entries made with multiple email addresses, under multiple identities, or through the use of any other device or artifice to enter a student multiple times will be deemed invalid with the following exception: a student may be entered to participate by a teacher, and that same student may also be registered as a participant in an after-school program by the adult in charge of the program.
As discussed below (under PRIZE NOTIFICATION), all prizes and awards will only be distributed to registrants with valid email addresses. Adults will be contacted by email when a student or program wins a prize. As discussed below (under PRIZE REDEMPTION), the adult must respond with requested information within the time specified in the prize notification and complete any necessary forms to receive the prize.
Participants are subject to all notices for the Contests posted on the contest site, including, but not limited to, the Privacy Policy.
The Contests are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited by law.
Immediate family members of employees of Clever Crazes for Kids® are not eligible to win prizes.
